Health and physical education is a very indispensable part of the JAMNABAI NARSEE SCHOOL GIFT CITY GANDHINAGAR curriculum and more so an integral part of school education in current times.

Regular physical activity is not only essential for healthy growth and development — it can actually boost students' academic achievement. Younger students can burn off some of their energy, increasing their ability to settle in and focus on their academic work.

Physical, emotional and mental health is key predictors of future quality of life for today's students. The health and physical education curriculum includes lessons on healthy eating, social and emotional health. The P.Ed. Program provides students with the information and skills they need to develop a lifelong commitment to an active, healthy lifestyle.

JNS gift city P.Ed programme has been inspired by Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences.

According to this theory, "We are all able to know the world through language, logical-mathematical analysis, spatial representation, musical thinking, the use of the body to solve problems or to make things, an understanding of other individuals, and an understanding of ourselves. Where individuals differ is in the strength of these intelligences - the so-called profile of intelligences -and in the ways in which such intelligences are invoked and combined to carry out different tasks, solve diverse problems, and progress in various domains."

In JNS, P.ED. incorporates Bodily/Kinaesthetic which involves physical coordination and dexterity, using fine and gross motor skills and expressing oneself or learning through physical activities.
